3 Beer Cocktail Recipes That’ll Make You Start Drinking Beer Cocktails

A few years ago, beer was just beer. You could get a beer that was dark or maybe a beer that wasn’t. You wouldn’t put anything in your beer and even if you did it wouldn’t be anything more than a lime or something, right? Right.

Well, fast-forward, friends. Beer is different these days and everything is fair game, including beer cocktails.

3 Beer Cocktail Recipes That’ll Make You Start Drinking Beer Cocktails :

1. Beer Mule


  • 12-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur
  • 2 bottles of light beer


Start by making a ginger simple syrup. Combine the ginger, water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stir until all the sugar dissolves, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a glass, ginger and all. Let cool.

Fill a glass with ginger syrup, add juice of 1 lime, 1 tablespoon of orange liqueur and beer. Stir. Drink.




2. Beer, Whiskey, Blood Orange, Jalapeno, Oh My



  • 2 oz blood orange juice
  • 1 ½ oz bourbon
  • 1 tbs agave
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
  • 2 oz IPA beer
In a shaker, filled with ice, add the blood orange juice, bourbon, agave, and jalapeno. Shake well, pour into a glass, add beer. Drink.



3. Summer Beer
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 12 fluid ounces water
  • 12 fluid ounces vodka
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
Put the lemonade in a gallon pitcher. Add vodka, water, and beer. Stir. Serve over ice.
