Blake Shelton, born in Ada, Oklahoma, grew up singing country music; learning how to play guitar by the age of 12. Blake made the move from Ada to Nashville shortly after graduating high school. His debut in country music came in 2001 with the release of “Austin,” the lead single from his self-titled debut album. With a few hits along the way, it wasn’t until 2008 that Blake began scoring consecutive No. 1 hits, including the Michael Bublé cover “Home,”“Hillbilly Bone,” and “Who Are you When I’m Not Looking.” His star power doubled when he married Miranda Lambert in 2011, later divorcing in 2015. Also in 2011, Blake’s career crossed over to superstar status when he became a coach on “The Voice,” making him a household name.
