We’re still a week away from the launch of season 17 of NBC’s ridiculously popular and oh-so- fun reality show, The Voice, but the producers and cast can’t stop teasing us with hilarious promos. And now we’ve learned that they are adding a whole new element of excitement to the show as Taylor Swift steps into the role of “mega-mentor.” And this isn’t the only change in the show.

Longtime viewers of The Voice know that Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are not judges on the show, but are, instead, coaches for their respective teams. In the past, each coach has also brought in a celebrity advisor to work with their teams for the battle rounds. For season 17, Kelly brings in Normani for her mentor, John brings in Usher, Blake enlisted the help of pal Darius Rucker, and Gwen has tapped Will.i.am to mentor her team in the battle rounds.

The Knockouts also return and that is where Taylor steps in as a mentor for all of the teams.

Of course, the charming and incredibly kind Carson Daly returns as the show’s host and emcee.
