When a website tried to pit Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood against each other, the two superstars weren’t having it.
In a recent twitter post, the website asked it’s followers to vote on who the most iconic winner of “American Idol” is, with Carrie and Kelly as their choices. Kelly saw the post and a few hours later took to Twitter with her answer.
“I think we’re both winning in life and pretty blessed! Singers, mamas, CEO’s…,” she tweeted back to the website. She included a few emojis and the hashtag #AmbitiousBlondes. Then she tagged in Carrie saying, “go ahead @carrieunderwood.”
Carrie didn’t miss a beat, tweeting right back to Kelly. “Whatever, girl, I voted for you! But seriously, I do wish more publications would just celebrate women’s success without pitting them against each other…Just my thoughts…anyway…Love ya’! Hope you’re well!”
And that friends, is why these two ladies are absolute superstars.
But to be fair, the website does all types of polls, even pitting men against men, song against song and team against team. You get the idea. Apparently, people just like to vote on things.
