Last fall, after leading the Nashville Predators to the Stanley Cup finals as captain and after 17 years in the NHL, Mike Fisher retired. He spent time with his wife Carrie Underwood, his son Isaiah and various organizations. Then, as quickly as he left the ice he returned to the Preds to help them on another historic playoff run (hopefully). Mike told fans that Carrie told him to play again and so far, it is working. And one little fan– Isaiah is really enjoying watching his dad back on the ice.
While mom was in Las Vegas preparing for the ACM Awards, Isaiah hit up Bridgestone Arena with his uncle Bud to watch his dad take on Colorado Avalanche and in a post to Instagram, Carrie shared, “My boys…(and Uncle @budfisher ?) I wonder if he’ll remember seeing his daddy play…I sure hope so. ❤❤❤.”
While he was there he got to greet dad on the ice and he definitely got an experience almost no kids get– he got to take photos with giant photos of both of his parents doing their respective thing. Pretty cool.
