If being No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts for 21 record-breaking consecutive weeks wasn’t enough, Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha one upped themselves by taking their smash hit “Meant to Be” to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard and Mediabase airplay charts.

This accomplishment gives the guys their 14th No. 1 career single, following “God Your Mama and Me,” “May We All,” and “H.O.L.Y.”

“From day one, this song was just meant to be,” said Tyler Hubbard. “Bebe jumped in on a cancelled writing session last minute and now it’s going down in history.”

What started as an unexpected co-write, became a history making single. Sitting at No. 1 for 21 consecutive weeks—the most weeks for a song with lead female vocals. The last song to accomplish this feat was Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” at 13 weeks. Penned by Tyler, Bebe, Josh Miller and David Garcia, “Meant to Be” has struck a chord with both pop and country music listeners.

“It’s been nothing but good vibes to see it take off and inspire,” Brian adds. “Its message is a positive one and why I think it’s connecting with those who hear it. We can’t thank Country radio enough for all of the support.”

We actually should be thanking you, FGL and Bebe.
