In 2008 Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley met at Belmont University through a worship group. Following graduation, the two friends decided to give it a go as a country music duo, allowing two years to make something happen. In 2010 they released their first EP “Anything Like Me” and hooked up with Nickelback producer Joey Moi. It was their second EP, “It’s Just What We Do”— featuring the single “Cruise,” that got the guys their record deal with Big Machine Label Group. In 2012 they released their debut album “Here’s The The Good Times,” which contained “Cruise” and several No. 1 hits including, “Round Here,” “Get Your Shine On” and “This Is How We Roll.” “Cruise” was the song the catapulted FGL into another stratosphere as it crossed over into pop success earning the 5x platinum status. The duo followed it up with two more platinum selling albums, “Anything Goes” in 2014 and the more grown up sound of “Dig Your Roots” in 2016.
