Julianne Hough is a triple threat—singer, dancer and actress. The 30-year-old phenom got her start as a professional dancer on “Dancing with the Stars,” released a country music album and starred in several movies including, “Footloose” and “Safe Haven.”
The Utah native is returning to the big screen to star in the feature film, “Bigger: The Joe Weider Story.” The movie follows the real life story of Joe Weider and his brother Ben, who faced anti-Semitism and extreme poverty, to beat the odds to build a fitness empire, Weider Enterprises.
Julianne stars as bodybuilderl/pin-up girl Betty Weider—wife of Joe Weider—along with Tyler Hoechlin as Joe, Victoria Justice, Colton Haynes, Calum Von Moger, Kevin Durand, Robert Forster and Steve Guttenberg.
The actress/singer took to Instagram to share the good news.
“I am so excited to share this story with you! A story about perseverance and vision that you will hopefully either connect to, relate to or be inspired by,” Julianne wrote. “If you have a vision, keep going. If you have a belief, you know what you are capable of. Honor your truth. I hope this movie inspires you to fight for what you believe in! 👊”
“Bigger” hits theaters on Oct. 12.
