Talk about a man’s world.

During the CMT Artists of the Year awards, Keith Urban opted to sing a James Brown for his performance.

James Brown who? Urban‘s performance of a “Man’s Man’s Man’s World” was, well– out of this world. To really add to the 1966 hit, Urban had an all-female band, which included a five-piece string section and a four-piece horn section backing him up.

Urban was able to showcase his incomprehensible guitar skills in a way his fans usually don’t get to see and he also proved he’s a pretty decent (or incredible) R&B singer.

His wife, Nicole Kidman, was in the crowd and was eventually brought to tears during his acceptance speech.
