Just like most of the human population, Kelly Clarkson is one of my favorite artists of all time— especially when she performs live. As a newcomer coach on “The Voice” this season, Kelly, in my opinion, outdid herself as a coach and artist.
During night one of “The Voice” finale, Kelly got on stage with her last remaining team member, Brynn Cartelli, as they sang a powerful duet of Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” and it was so incredibly good. Kelly is obviously a powerhouse vocalist, but 15-year-old Brynn Cartelli managed to keep up with her and even added her own personal flair to the mix.
Brynn has been a favorite of mine since the beginning, so I’m thrilled that she’s even in the top 4. We’ll find out tonight, May 22 on NBC if Kelly Clarkson is the winning coach with Brynn Cartelli during her debut season!
