Kelly Clarkson Announces She’s Getting Her Own Daytime Talk Show in 2019

In case you missed it, there have been some rumors circulating lately that Kelly Clarkson would be getting her own daytime talk show. Ever since, we’ve been patiently waiting for her to either confirm or deny the news— and now, our prayers have been answered!

Kelly appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to talk about her upcoming Meaning of Life tour with Kelsea Ballerini and her “Voice” champion, Brynn Cartelli— and casually (or maybe accidentally) slipped in the news about her talk show.

Kelly told Jimmy she would be introducing Facebook and Instagram Live segments throughout her tour to “kind of prep for my talk show that’s gonna be next year.”

“Well, it’s been leaked,” Kelly said to Jimmy after he made her backtrack to give more details on the show.

“I didn’t think I’d ever do it. I love talking, it’s like my favorite pastime. It’s hard for me to shut up though, you know you like have to listen to people who come on your show,” she said.

Kelly’s “musically themed” talk show is set to air next year on NBC right before “Ellen,” though no premiere date has been announced.
