Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks Among Forbes’ Highest Paid Celebrities of 2018

Forbes revealed their annual list of the World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities for 2018 and three country stars make the top 100. The wide-ranging list includes well known actors, athletes and musicians, all of whom Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks find themselves in company among.

Luke is the highest paid country act, coming in at No. 45 on the list. He has earned an impressive $52 million thanks to his massive headlining tours, successful singles and his new role as a judge on American Idol. He ties the position with pop star P!nk, who also earned the same salary. Luke finds himself on the list between two other musicians — rockers Depeche Mode, who earned a reported $53 million, and Jimmy Buffett, who amassed $51 million this year.

Garth, meanwhile, doesn’t fall too far behind as he is ranked No. 59 for the most paid celebrities in 2018. The country legend earned a reported $45.5 million in 2018. Kenny is the third and final country star featured on the yearly list and comes in at No. 87 with an estimated $37 million.

Country turned pop star Taylor Swift receives a mention as well. She ranks within the top 25 earners, having amassed $80 million in 2018. She reins at No. 21 behind acts like U2, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Katy Perry. Other well known musicians who made the top 100 include Jay-Z, Guns N’ Roses, Roger Waters, Sean Combs, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, The Eagles, Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris, Paul McCartney, Drake, Foo Fighters, Jennifer Lopez, and Elton John, among others.

The top three celebrity earners is a varied one. Boxer Floyd Mayweather comes in the top spot with a remarkable $285 million while actor George Clooney is second having received $239 million. Self-made millionaire Kylie Jenner ranks third having earned $166.5 million. At 20, Kylie could become the youngest self-made billionaire, besting Mark Zuckerberg’s previous title, which was also once held by Bill Gates.
