Maren Morris may seem like an overnight success, but the fact is the Texas native has been paying her dues for years before getting her big break. Maren released three albums in 2005, 2007 and 2011, before her self-released self-titled EP caught the attention of a major label, Sony Music, where she later signed a record deal. In 2016, she released her debut album, Hero, to critical acclaim. The 2017 Grammy winner became a force to be reckoned with after the release of her fast-rising debut single “My Church.” Although the song fell short of the top spot, it reached No. 5 on the charts. She followed that up with the Top 10 hit “80s Mercedes” and nabbed her first No.1 hit with “I Could Use a Love Song” in 2018. Maren became engaged to fellow singer/songwriter Ryan Hurd in July 2017 and the couple wed on March 24, 2018.
