Miranda Lambert began her career playing gigs around her home state of Texas. She auditioned for “Nashville Star” in 2003, coming in third place. A short two years later, Miranda released her 2005 debut album Kerosene, which produced singles “Me and Charlie Talking” and “Kerosene.” But it wasn’t until 2011 when she released “The House That Built Me,” her first No. 1 hit, that her career took off. She married Blake Shelton in 2011, making her one half of a country music power couple. The two later divorced in 2015, which lead to Miranda releasing her critically acclaimed breakup album, The Weight of These Wings, in 2016.
