It was swift, but powerful and if you did any blinking, you missed it. But, yes– Katy Perry was able to subtly take a shot at Taylor Swift during the most recent episode of “American Idol.”
During a montage of contestants, one performer was asked, “who do you look up to as an artist?”
The performer awkwardly said, “I’m sorry for this, Katy… Taylor Swift. I love Taylor Swift.”
Not missing a beat, Katy replied, “oh, you don’t have to be sorry… I love Taylor Swift… as a songwriter, as well.” And then, she made a pretty classic face.
