Taylor Swift Doesn’t Let Downpour Dampen Reputation Tour Stop in New Jersey

Taylor Swift didn’t let a little rain ruin her concert stop at MetLife Stadium, home to NFL’s New York Jets and New York Giants, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It wasn’t a little rain that fell Saturday night, but a flat out downpour that soaked the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer and her fans throughout the night.

While the forecast called for rain, concertgoers still turned out in droves to see their favorite pop singer during her Reputation Tour. Ever the professional, Taylor knew the show must go on. The rain lasted throughout the entire show and soaked the superstar, who sported a wet mane for the night.

“I’ve been looking at the weather reports tonight from MetLife Stadium,” Taylor said in her Instagram story, talking to her mom Andrea prior to the show. “It’s 80 to 90 percent chance of rain. But we like the rain, don’t we? I love it, personally.”

Following the downpour, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to share some pictures from the show.

“FULL 🚨 RAIN 🚨 SHOW 🚨 Last night we all danced together for 2 hours in the pouring rain – who knows what the Jersey skies will bring us tonight but we’re *ready for it* 😘,” she wrote in the caption.

Taylor’s reputation tour continues, rain or shine, on July 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The forecast calls for thunderstorms in the area on the night of the show. Looks like it could be a repeat performance. Get your ponchos ready, cause T-Swift don’t care.
