Growing up, Adam Levine never dreamed of having a job, much less multiple jobs. Now, he finds himself as the frontman of Maroon 5, a tequila connoisseur, acne spokesman and a coach on “The Voice.”

While discussing all of these jobs with Ellen DeGeneres, Adam shared that, yes, he and Blake Shelton really are “so close” and that up and until recently the two used to check in with each other during filming to make sure they weren’t crossing any lines, but, now they’re so close and comfortable they don’t do that anymore.

Adam also shared what it’s like for Adam, Blake and their significant others, Behati Prinsloo and Gwen Stefani to hang out, “I’m extremely, bordering on disgusting affectionate with my wife, and this is like another thing, it’s so wildly affectionate it makes me a little uncomfortable at times…”

He also went on to say that if anyone saw the four of them out it’d look like a game of Spin the Bottle.
