“The Voice” Alum Adam Wakefield Releases His Mysterious “Blame It on Me” Video

You can blame “it” on
Adam Wakefield. What “it” is, well, he’s not giving that up.

“The Voice” alum has released the video for his most recent tune, “Blame It on Me,” which we debuted back in March.

“GOLDFOX directed and produced the music video,” Adam tells One Country. “We had previously worked with them on a simple, one-take video for my song ‘When You’re Sober’ – I was excited to bring this concept video to them. It’s exactly what I’d hoped for – powerful, but a bit open-ended. Totally up to the viewer to interpret.”

By leaving it open, the viewer can decide who is really to blame.

“Blame It on Me” is included on Adam’s upcoming EP, out in July.
