After Chris Stapleton and his friend Justin Timberlake played George Jones’ “Tennessee Whiskey” during the 49th Annual CMA Awards, everyone in the world started playing the song. Adam Wakefield, season 10 contestant on “The Voice” played the tune and got country music superstar Blake Shelton to turn around, along with Adam Levine.

Wakefield hails from Nashville and obviously isn’t Chris Stapleton (or George Jones), but he’s really good.

Levine and Shelton fought for Wakefield and yes, Shelton won him over.
