“I’m so excited to announce my first event for my breast cancer charity The Love Anchors Fund and I’m even more excited to share the stage with my good friends Jamie O’Neal and Heidi Newfield for this special event. I can’t thank Twin Creeks Marina enough for sponsoring the event,” ,” Anita tells One Country.  “After being diagnosed with breast cancer, it motivated me to give back. This is my way of doing that. I encourage everyone to seek out meaningful opportunities to give back and do something. It really does make a difference!”

In 2017, Anita was diagnosed with Stage 2, Triple Positive Breast Cancer. After undergoing aggressive chemo treatments and several surgeries, the Michigan native made it her mission to bring awareness to the cause. That’s when she decided to launch her own The Love Anchors Fund. With every donation made, money will go to various charities that will help in breast cancer research, bringing awareness and also helping patients who might need financial assistance to pay their bills while they are sick.
