We have long heard about The Bachelor being dramatic.
But with this latest storyline, they are finally fulfilling their promise.
On Monday’s (Feb. 24) episode, current Bachelor Peter Weber and love interest Madison Prewett found themselves at a crossroads when she seemed to give him an ultimatum, telling him that she couldn’t move forward with an engagement if he had in fact slept with either or both of his other suitors.
Fair ultimatum if you ask me.
But come to find out – Weber didn’t feel it was an ultimatum at all.
“I don’t feel like it was an ultimatum. I don’t,” Weber said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I think it was her doing what I asked every girl to do from the very first night and that was to be honest with me and share what was ever on their heart. And that’s what she did. Trust me, it made it an insanely incredibly difficult week for me. There’s no doubt about that. But I can’t fault her for sharing her heart.”
Considering that Prewett has been very vocal throughout the season about how she has been saving herself for marriage, her request shouldn’t be very surprising. However, in the land of reality television, it has created quite the uproar.
To see what comes of the “ultimatum,” tune in to The Bachelor Monday night on ABC.
