Brett Young, Carly Pearce to Be Highlighted On Upcoming “Front and Center” Episode

Brett Young and Carly Pearce will share the Opry City Stage in New York’s Times Square for an upcoming taping of public television’s concert series “Front and Center.”

The Sept. 17 taping will serve as a double episode for the series, and fans can purchase tickets for the concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m., via the venue’s website.

Each singer has a slew of hits to choose to perform during the taping. Brett, who has seen success with back-to-back chart toppers off his debut project with “Sleep Without You,” “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Like I Loved You” and “Mercy,” also recently revealed that he’ll be releasing his sophomore album, Ticket to L.A., on Dec. 7. “I decided to name the album Ticket to L.A. because flying home to Los Angeles has become such a big part of my life,” he explains in a statement. “A lot of the first record reflected a kind of hard point in my life when I was moving from Los Angeles to Nashville, but I’m in a completely different place now. I’m so happy, and I think you can really hear that shift on the new record.”

Carly, meanwhile, has become a fan favorite at country radio following the success of her debut single, “Every Little Thing.” The singer’s follow-up, “Hide the Wine,” continues to be a mainstay on the charts and shows off her fun side.

Since 2012, “Front and Center” has profiled some of the world’s most well-known artists. The television series combines behind-the-scenes interviews with intimate performances from each act. Previous artists profiled include Keith Urban, Steven Tyler, The Fray, Lady Antebellum, Cyndi Lauper, Jack Johnson, Counting Crows, Rob Thomas, and The Avett Brothers.
