On Saturday, May 5, “Full House” and “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure hosted the iHeartCountry Festival in Austin, Texas and now, she’s calling herself a country music super fan.

Candace, who co-hosted the event with Bobby Bones, took to her Instagram to share photos from the event, saying that she’s always liked country music, but being around the artists made her fall in love with it.

“I had one of the best nights last night in Austin, Texas co-hosting the iHeartCountry Music Festival that will air on Fox later this fall,” she said. “I’ve always enjoyed country music, but now I’m a super fan! All of these artists could not have been more down to earth and super nice.”

One of the things she noticed most about the experience was how kind the artists were. She said the people at the festival were much more approachable than what she’s experienced at other award shows.

“One of my biggest takeaways from the evening was that everyone (artists, crew, everyone) was super nice and really kind. Everyone was so personable, the artists talked and hung out. I haven’t seen that at other festivals or award shows,” she told E! News.

She shared a short video on her Instagram as she took a group photo with artists including Maren Morris, Chase Rice, Keith Urban, Dustin Lynch and, yes, even yodeling kid.

As far as her wardrobe choices, Candace said she wanted to keep things fun and bright.

“When I was thinking of my outfits for the show, it was important to me that I embraced the vibrant energy of country music—letting it reflect in fun, bright colors in different fabrications, textures and patterns,” she said. “I also wanted to make sure everything was easy to move in because I love to dance – and I DID!”
