Carly Pearce Uses Music to Help Heal and Honor Those Who Lost Their Lives in Las Vegas

Holding true to the words “the show must go on,” Carley Pearce went on with the listening party for her upcoming album Every Little Thing Monday night at the Listening Room Cafe in Nashville.

The event, which had been scheduled prior to the tragic events of Las Vegas, turned into an evening of music and healing for family, friends and fans.

“Today has been an extremely heavy day and I think that all of us and so many of you in the Nashville community feel that this hit close to home,” said Pearce. “What is so beautiful about music is that music heals. I hope tonight we honor those who lost their lives and were affected and are just reminded why we love music so much, especially Country music.”

Pearce kicked off the event with a powerful version of her current single, “Every Little Thing,” which currently sits at No. 9 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. She was then joined by songwriter friends Hillary Lindsey, Shane McAnally, Emily Shackleton, Allison Veltz and Laura Veltz to help perform songs and tell stories from her 13-track project.

Every Little Thing is due to hit stores on Oct. 13.
