Carrie Underwood and Husband Mike Fisher Celebrate 11 Years of Being Together With “Rare Night Out”


They’ve been married for nine year,  but Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are celebrating 11 years from the first time they ever met.

In a post on Instagram Carrie shared a photo of the couple enjoying a romantic “rare night out” at Del Posto, an Italian restaurant in New York.  She captioned the photo with a loving message to her hubby.

“11 years ago yesterday, I met the love of my life…patient, kind, the best dad, handsome, of course!,” Carrie wrote. “Someone who accepts me and all my flaws…the same as me in many ways…opposite in some. But he is my match. The iron to sharpen me….tonight we celebrated at @delposto . A rare night out with amazing food and even more amazing company and conversation. Here’s to so many more years together. Love you, babe! 😘.”

In 2008, Carrie and Mike were introduced backstage at a concert by Carrie’s band leader, Mark Childers. The couple hit it off and Mike proposed to country’s sweetheart a year later. In July 2010 Mike and Carrie exchanged vows at Georgia’s Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation resort. In 2015 they welcomed their first son, Isaiah Michael (4), followed by son Jacob Bryan (8 months) in 2019.

The couple recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary by going horseback riding, which the shared with fans on Instagram.

“Spent my morning with my cowboy and our horses! 🤠+🐴=😊 #TooManySelfies,” Carrie wrote next to several photos of the ride.
