If you were looking for fireworks this July 4th you found them at the inaugural Hot Country Live concert where Carrie Underwood headlined an electric night.
Carrie along with Dan + Shay and Filmore kicked off Spotify’s new Hot Country Live concert series in New York City at The Seaport’s The Rooftop at Pier 17. Sparks flew when Carrie, who hasn’t toured in 2 years, took the stage for hits including “Blown Away,” “Church Bells,” her latest single “Cry Pretty,” from her upcoming album of the same name, due out Sept. 14 and closing out the night with “Before He Cheats.”
“I’m thrilled to be a part of Spotify’s first ever Hot Country Live show, and can’t wait to celebrate the holiday playing live music under the stars.” Carrie said prior to the show.
Filmore opened the show, followed by country duo Dan+Shay who warmed up the crowd with hits such as, All To Myself,” “From the Ground Up,” and “Tequila,” featured on their self-titled album.
Carrie took to Instagram to share her epic night and thank fans and Spotify for a successful night.
