Carrie Underwood’s CMA Performance of “Love Wins” Is What We All Need Right Now [Watch]

Carrie Underwood not only won Female Vocalist of the Year at the CMA Awards on Nov. 14, but the blonde stunner may have won the night with her passionate performance of her latest single, “Love Wins.”

As Carrie took the stage, her co-host Brad Paisley made the introduction saying, “In these trying times, we all need to hear that “Love Wins.”

Carrie looked perfect in a royal blue dress and cape wrapped around her pregnant frame. As sparks of color surrounded the the Oklahoma native, Carrie belted out the powerful message of love in her current single.

The tune, written by Carrie, David Garcia and Brett James, takes on political and social issues that have become divisive in today’s society. “How the hell’d it ever come to this,” the singer rails in the song. She goes on to offer her stance by seeing everyone as brothers and sisters, preaching for love, cause in the end, “Love Wins.”
