Carrie Underwood took home her fifth trophy for CMA Female Vocalist of the Year last night at the 2018 CMA Awards and she’s still pinching herself. Following a busy evening which included her co-hosting the show with Brad Paisley for the 11th consecutive year and a stirring performance of her new single, “Love Wins,” Carrie admits that she’s still on Cloud Nine.

“Last night was a dream…one Iā€™m still doing my best to not wake up from,” she gushes on Instagram. “Today (and every day) I am thankful for all those in my world who make this life happen! Thank you, fans, for the constant support and encouragement. YOU give all of us these amazing opportunities to do what we love. I hope I made you proud last night! PS- the last pic was just too cute to share!”

Carrie’s Instagram post includes a series of photos from Country Music’s Biggest Night. The first image sees the blonde beauty dressed in a floor-length navy blue gown while holding her trophy and the envelope announcing her as the winner moments after she gave her acceptance speech. A big smile on her face, the singer exudes class. The next shows Carrie backstage in the press room in a dazzling black and silver ensemble as she holds her trophy up high and proud, while the third is the cutest of them all. At home, Carrie’s son, Isaiah, is seen touching the television screen as his mom performs “Love Wins.”
