Summer is coming and Carrie Underwood is celebrating the season with her new video for her current single, “Southbound.”

We’re gonna get a little southbound, unwound, Tennessee Honey kinda buzz / Then south sounds up loud, summer drippin’ over us / Wanna give a bang to the party cove / Long as it floats, we’ll rock the boat / And it’s all lookin’ up when we get down, yeah / And get a little southbound, southbound / Get a little southbound, southbound,” she sings in the chorus.

In the new video, Carrie intersperses scenes from her current Cry Pretty Tour 360 with Runaway June and Maddie & Tae along with scenes from a weekend getaway with the ladies, her family and friends.

Carrie and friends hit the lake for some fun in the sun by playing cornhole, water activities and water balloons. Carrie can be seen tossing the bean bag, shooting water balloons from an oversized sling shot and   And it wouldn’t be summer without oversized Margaritas, that the ladies can be seen toasting with.

That’s not all. To add to the fun, the party goers jump off a hight dock onto an inflatable that has someone waiting to be bounced off into the water. And if thought being would be all work and no play, the video gives an inside look into all the fun Carrie, Mike and crew have backstage.

When little Isaiah, Mike and Carrie’s oldest son, hits the screen, he steals the show. Isaiah joins in the fun by chasing mom around with a super soaker water gun, giving Carrie a run for her money. We also see little Isaiah sticking close to mom and following in her footsteps as she walks to the stage for her job.

“Southbound,” brings together all the feels of work and play, putting us in the mood for some fun of our own. Check out Carrie’s latest video for “Southbound.”
