Cassadee Pope loves a challenge. If she can sweat during a killer workout and help one of her favorite charities at the same time, she is all in.

The “Wasted All These Tears” singer recently hosted a workout for a cause at Barry’s Boot Camp in Nashville, and she invited me to do the class with her. How could I say no?

The money raised is helping the charity Unlikely Heroes, which helps kids ages one to 18. To date, they’ve rescued 400 children and helped them start a new life.

“I went to an event a few years ago and right away I was just blown away,” Cassadee said of the charity. “They actually go all over the world and rescue these kids who have been victims of sex trafficking.

“The stories are incredible,” she adds. “They get rescued and then they are rehabilitated. They are brought to the States. They put them up in these beautiful homes. Give them new identities so they can never be hurt again and they turn out to be these successful, intelligent, incredible people.”

In addition to supporting non-profits and working out, Cassadee has been busy finishing a new album. The lead single “One More Red Light” is already getting love from radio. And not to mention, Cassadee is dating a prince!  Well, a prince on TV. You may have seen her beau, actor Sam Palladio, on the Netflix Christmas film “The Princess Switch.”  (Yes, he was Gunnar on Nashville too). Cassadee says she is happier than ever.
