ALABAMA, Chris Young, Lee Brice, Sara Evans and Travis Tritt are the latest country artists added to the lineup for Charlie Daniels 2018 Volunteer Jam.
“This year we get back to basics, back to the free form rocking traditions the Volunteer Jam was known for. I’m planning a jam at the last part of the show that will blow the roof off Bridgestone. And we’ve got the pickers coming this year that can make that happen big time,” said Charlie.
Previously announced artists performing at what is being called, Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute to Charlie, will be Charlie Daniels and The Charlie Daniels Band, Alison Krauss, Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top, Blackberry Smoke, Bobby Bare, Chris Janson, Chuck Leavell, Eddie Montgomery, Jamey Johnson, Justin Moore, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Skaggs and more to be announced in the coming weeks. Each artist will perform their own songs as well as songs in tribute to it’s host, Charlie Daniels.
The star-studded event is set to take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7 p.m. CT. A portion of the proceeds from 2018’s Volunteer Jam will be donated to The Journey Home Project, an organization that helps military veterans.
