Two-time GRAMMY winner Chris Stapleton returned to Nashville after a successful evening at his first ever GRAMMY Awards show. Stapleton took home the Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album trophies before performing on stage with Bonnie Raitt and Gary Clark Jr. His first night back in Nashville was the beginning of a three-night sold-out run at the famed Ryman Auditorium.
For his encore, Stapleton played an acoustic version of “Whiskey and You” alone on the stage with just a spotlight.
“Nashville” actor Charles Esten was in attendance and called the show “a moment in music history.”
