With little explanation, Chris Stapleton has just set the country music world into a tailspin by canceling 3 weeks worth of shows, including his appearance during CMA Music Festival.

Chris posted a simple statement to his website reading, “Unfortunately, the next three weeks of “The All-American Road Show” have been postponed. Below is the full list of dates we are working to reschedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Hold on to your tickets for now, and stay tuned for updates.”

The statement went on to say, “Unfortunately, Chris’ appearance at the CMA Music Festival on Sunday, June 11 is cancelled. Thank you for your patience and support.”

Last summer, Chris canceled a show due to vocal reasons, but was very upfront about the reason.
