Chris Stapleton, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert Among Performers for ACM Awards

The Academy of Country Music has announced some of the performers for their upcoming award show and the line up is a great representation of the incredible diversity and talent that is country music today.

Reigning Entertainer of the Year and 2019 Artist of the Decade winner Jason Aldean was previously announced to perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and now we learn that he’ll be joined by several of his friends.

In addition to Jason, big winners from the previous year’s show including Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris, as well as Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, the legendary George Strait, and the show’s iconic host, Reba McEntire will take the stage.

More performers and presenters are expected to be announced in the weeks leading up to this star-studded event, which will broadcast live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7 on CBS at 8pm ET.

This is the 54th year for the ACM Awards which first started in 1964 in Los Angeles. The show moved to Las Vegas in 2003 and now includes multiple nights of performances and parties. The ACM celebrated their 50th anniversary of award shows in Dallas but returned to the strip the following year where it makes its home.
