It’s become known as the “Toddler Challenge” or the “Toddler Temptation Challenge,” and it’s sweeping the internet. Parents put their toddlers in front of a bowl of their favorite treats and then ask them to not nibble until the parent returns from another room. While we often think of toddlers as impetuous and out of control, the children of Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Jessie James Decker had no problem with the task at hand.

Jason’s son, Memphis, was carefully instructed to not touch the chocolate glazed donut with rainbow sprinkles in front of him. Wait, Mom – was it don’t touch it or don’t eat it. And honestly, who would miss one little sprinkle from an entire donut?

Thomas Rhett’s middle daughter, Ada James, was so “very patient” when her mother instructed her to not touch a bowl full of jelly beans. Giggling with delight, she even pretended to bury her face in the bowl to eat a few before pushing it far away…then pulling it back. She couldn’t resist the urge to stroke just one before Mom returned and she happily enjoyed her reward.

Olivia Hubbard, the oldest daughter of Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, had the longest wait for her reward – chocolate chips. She seemed to spend her time with as many distractions as she could while waiting for mom, Hayley, to return. When Hayley did return, though, Olivia piled them all into her mouth.

Forest Decker, Jessie James Decker’s youngest, seemed the most dismayed by the challenge, reaching out to nearly pick up a ring pop before remembering Mom’s directive – “don’t touch it.” He even picked it up at one point, but he didn’t take a single lick until Jessie re-entered the room and he raised it into the air to show her – dry pop!
