Daryle Singletary Passes Away At 46

Country singer Daryle Singletary passed away this morning (Feb. 12) at the age of 46.

According to a press release, the singer passed away at his home in Lebanon, Tennessee and the cause of death is still pending. Details will follow as more information is available.

Daryle made his mark on country music in 1995 with hits like “I Let Her Lie,” “Too Much Fun,” “Amen Kind of Love” and “The Note.” He released seven albums over the course of his career including, All Because of You and Ain’t It The Truth.

The 46-year-old was playing concerts this past weekend in Alabama and Lafayette, La. His death comes as a shock to those who know and love the country singer.

Word of Daryle’s death spread via social media. Friend Travis Tritt tweeted his condolences. “I’m shocked and saddened to hear that Daryle Singletary has passed away. He was a true country voice and his talent will be sorely missed. Praying for Daryle’s friends and family.”

The Georgia native is survived by his wife, Holly, two sons, Jonah and Mercer, two daughters, Nora and Charlotte, parents, Roger and Anita Singletary, brother, Kevin Singletary, sister-in-law, Melinda Singletary, mother and father-in-law, Terry and Sandy Mercer, and brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Kristy Rowland.
