The backstories on this season of “The Voice” are so music-industry oriented it’s hard to believe some of these people need to be on the show. Regardless, there are some pretty talented people coming through the auditions, including Mr. Dennis Drummond.

Not only is Drummond taller than Blake Shelton (yes, taller), he currently lives in Nashville and has been Adam Wakefield’s guitarist for the last few years. Before Drummond took to “The Voice,” Wakefield said he didn’t even know Drummond could sing.

After singing the Black Crowes’ “She Talks to Angels,” Adam Levine and Shelton straight-up fought over Drummond via naming as many Black Crowes’ songs as possible.

Drummond went with his gut and his mom’s favorite– Shelton.
