As Elle King and Dierks Bentley walked the GRAMMY red carpet together as BFFs and nominees for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their hit tune “Different For Girls” the two stopped to answer a few questions along the way.

As we’ve learned about Elle over the last few months, she’s a straight shooter, hilarious and loves making Dierks slightly uncomfortable, which is hard to do.

All evening long, red carpet interviewers asked Elle and Dierks about the song and its meaning, but when one correspondent asked Elle, “What actually is different for girls, why is it so much easier to get your heart broken when you’re a boy?”

Elle calmly stated, “because guys have never had a period.”

And Dierks’ face said it all.

This will forever be our favorite Dierks’ face of all-time. Thanks, Elle.
