Dierks Bentley has reason to celebrate as his latest single, “Woman, Amen,” is the No. 1 song in country music this week. The singer notched his 17th career chart topper with the song, which
currently sits in the highest position on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country
Aircheck singles chart. “Woman, Amen” is the lead single off his recently released ninth studio
album, The Mountain.

“Making The Mountain with my fellow songwriters and musicians was such a creatively
inspiring journey and it’s been so gratifying to share the culmination of that effort with the fans
in the last few days,” Dierks said. “To see people genuinely connecting with the music in the way they have is the ultimate reward. Thank you to my collaborators and thank you to the fans for opening their hearts to this album. I love that these songs are making good traveling companions.”

Dierks wrote 10 of the album’s 13 tracks, including his latest hit which he penned with Josh Kear
and Ross Copperman. The song’s sweet sentiment gives a nod to his wife, Cassidy, and praises
her for her unyielding support.

She gives me faith, she gives me grace / She gives me hope, she gives me strength / She gives me love, love without end / Thank God, for this woman, amen.” he sings on the song.

“My wife and our relationship has been the one constant element in my life over all the ups and
downs of my career and personal life,” he previously shared. “Our journey together has made me the man I am today. I doubt my heart would even recognize the old me. This song addresses that in the most direct possible way. The personal gratitude expressed in the lyrics, mixed with a
track that leans heavily on some bigger sounds, is the perfect way to introduce the album.”
