Julie Bowen is a staple on primetime TV as Clare Dunphy on “Modern Family.” That also means Bowen is a staple at the EMMYs every fall, as the show is always nominated.
This year, Bowen was seated behind Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin and she just couldn’t keep it together.
Bowen told Jimmy Kimmel, “OMG, this is, of course, the ladies of ‘9 to 5’. We were so excited… everybody came over to take a picture with Dolly Parton. I’m not kidding. Everybody! I think Oprah may have. She is the original Oprah. She is the goddess of all goddesses… I couldn’t work up the courage to talk to her…Dolly Parton is so beloved… she’s got a theme park. Very few people can do that.”
