The Dolly Parton Tribute at the Grammy Awards Stole the Show in the Best Way [Watch]

It was a night for women at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards Sunday night (Feb. 10) but no one was more deserving of being honored than country’s queen, Dolly Parton.

Not only was Dolly honored the night before at the 2019 MusicCares Person of the Event with artist like Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood paying tribute to the country icon, but the following night artists such as Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Miley Cyrus and Little Big Town.

It was a star-studded tribute as Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves kicked it off by singing “Here You Come Again,” as Dolly joined in. Next Dolly’s Goddaughter, Miley Cyrus came to the stage to join Dolly in a sultry rendition of “Jolene.”

“Give it up for Dolly,” Miley yelled from the stage.

Miley was then joined by Maren Morris for Neil Young’s “After The Gold Rush” and Little Big Town performed “Red Shoes” with Dolly before all gathering for an energetic version of  “9 To 5.”

The crowd was on their feet dancing and singing along to the infectious hit.

“Thank you Linda Perry and this great band of yours. And you great singers. Thank you everybody. Appreciate it,” Dolly said at the conclusion of the tribute.
