Concert security has the best seat in the house, but because of their job, they always have to face to crowd with their back turned to the stage. Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”) worked security for Garth Brooks in Manhattan, KS during Garth’s (ONE) tour in 1995. He has the pictures to prove it. But he never got to meet Garth, much less look at him. That all changed over the weekend when Stonestreet finally got the chance to say, “You’re welcome” and close the circle on their friendship.

The “Modern Family” star posted a series of pictures from his time backstage writing:

In 1995 I worked security for A (ONE) Garth Brooks concert in Manhattan Ks. Last night I finally got to say you’re welcome for keeping him safe that night and basically giving him the wonderful career he’s had thus far. Thank you Garth for the amazing night I had with my #crew slash #squad ❤️#circles

Garth signed his old photos “Love you pal” and “Here’s to circles.”

He also posted some videos of him dancing and cheering throughout the concert. Fandom never dies.
