Behind the scenes, it was obvious that the family was in everyone’s thoughts and prayers, and Florida Georgia Line reached out to the Smith family through social media.

Both Granger and his wife, Amber, shared the news on their socials on June 6 that their son, River Kelly Smith, had passed in a tragic accident. Of course, multiple country stars including Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, Dan + Shay, Cole Swindell, Lauren Alaina and many more commented with their prayers for the family, reinforcing exactly what FGL had expressed so beautifully.
