Florida Georgia Line teasing new music earlier this week, came sooner than we thought. The duo has officially released their new single, “Simple,” the first track from their highly-anticipated upcoming fourth studio album.

“Excited to share the next chapter of FGL that we’ve been working so hard on,” said Brian Kelley. “‘Simple‘ is as simple as it gets – 4 chords and a lotta heart!”

The new song, written by Tyler, Brian, Michael Hardy and Mark Holman, is the follow up to the duos “Smooth” and their mega-hit “Meant To Be” with Bebe Rexha. “Simple” has the guys harkening back to the roots of country music, complete with banjos and a toe-tapping melody, produced by Joey Moi.

“We are always wanting to push our sound forward and never make the same record twice,” Tyler adds. “We feel like we’ve upped our game on this project as well.”

‘Simple” has the guys singing about falling in love with your soulmate and everything else becomes so simple. A a real testament to true love.

It’s like one, two, three / just as easy as can be / just the way you look at me / you make me smile / Ain’t no need to complicate it / we both know that’s overrated / we’ve been there it’s safe to say it ain’t our style / It’s just that Simple / S-I-M-P-L-E / Simple as can be / It’s just that simple / S-I-M-P-L-E / simple as can be,” they sing in the chorus.

More details about the new album will follow soon. Their fourth offering is the follow up to 2016’s Dig Your Roots, which featured three consecutive No.1 hits,  “H.O.L.Y.” and  “May We All” (ft. Tim McGraw) and “God, Your Mama, And Me” (ft. Backstreet Boys).
