Say what you want about Florida Georgia Line (everyone already has), you can’t deny two things about them– they can write a damn catchy hook and they know how to have a good time.
The duo’s latest single, “Smooth” is an ode to smooth women, but the video for the jam is even more. It features a bachelor party for the guys’ friend and big-time songwriter, Craig Wiseman, who does a real life vow renewal with wife of 23 years at the end of the video. The “Cat Daddy” namechecked in the lyrics is actually Wiseman.
The video was co-directed by Brian Kelley and CMA Award Winner, TK McKamy.
Kelly told “Entertainment Tonight,” “[I’m] really excited about the ‘Smooth’ video, it’s my first time co-directing. It’s been really cool to write the treatment and see this thing slowly come to life.”
And come to life they do.
