We’ve seen it before, when an musical artist deletes all their previous Instagram posts to start over with a blank slate, it means only one thing…new music. Taylor Swift did it, Dierks Bentley did it and Sam Hunt did it. Most recently, Florida Georgia Line is doing it and getting a fresh start on Instagram.
The country-pop duo started over with three new posts on their official Instagram account. Everything up until this point is now gone. Over the past day, the guys have posted three new images in black and white.
The first image shows the guys with guitars walking through a field with lights on the ground. The caption reads, “Ain’t no need to complicate it.” The second image has the guys dancing in a barn surrounded by party-goers with a caption that says, “It’s paradise as long as I’m with you.” And he final image, posted an hour ago, is back to a solo shot of the Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard standing on a dirt road with guitars. The caption reads, “We’re just simple like a six string.”
It can mean only one thing…new music. The guys seem to be promoting a new single, and the captions are the lyrics. Since none of the songs on their current album, Dig Your Roots, contain these lyrics, that means a new album is coming from FGL too.
Their last album, Dig Your Roots, was released in 2016 and their latest single “Meant To Be” (which they are featured on) with Bebe Rexha has reached meteoric heights. It’s time.
Brian and Tyler took to Twitter to let us know, it’s on the way. “Hung with our producer Joey Moi the other day and signed off on some new mixes helloooo new music coming real soon!!!!!
#fgl #record4 #newmusic #hotoffthedamnpress.”
Bring it on boys. We’re ready for it.
