Garth Brooks Is Coming To CMA Fest and Gearing Up For a New Tour

Garth Brooks is arguably one of the biggest stars in the world, so when the superstar makes an announcement, people listen. Garth took to his Studio G Facebook live to announce that he will be returning to take part in the 2018 CMA Fest this year.

The Oklahoma native will be stopping by Xfinity Fan Fair X inside Music City Center, where he will be participating in a Q&A on the Close Up Stage Saturday, June 9 from 12:15 to 1:00 PM.

Formerly Fan Fair, CMA Fest is a four-day festival where country music stars take over Nashville for performances and fan club parties. In 1996, Garth made history by signing autographs for 23 hours straight, without a break. His last appearance at the event was 1998, until he returned last year for a surprise appearance at Nissan Stadium performing a medley of his hits including “Friends in Low Places,” “The Thunder Rolls” and 2017’s  “Ask Me How I Know.”

Garth also used his Studio G platform to announce new music and a new tour. “The new tour is going to happen,” he said. “We’re so excited. It’s been really cool, cause it seems like two seconds ago we walked off stage but those six or seven months we’ve just kind of been planning, building, building.”

Garth recently wrapped his three-year world tour in Nashville on Dec. 16 at Bridgestone Arena. Upcoming tour dates will be announced later this year.

Tickets for Xfinity Fan Fair X are available for $10 each day, Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10, or $25 for a four-day pass.
