Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Shares Update on Her Beautiful Twin Babies— “I’m Overwhelmed by God’s Love”

Hillary Scott has been taking a break from her road duties with Lady Antebellum since giving birth to her twins. The mom of three has been spending quality time with the newborns and she’s sharing an update.

Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn arrived into the world on January 29th, turning the family of three into a party of five. After adjusting to two new babies, life for Hillary and Chris Tyrell seems to be full of love, as the babies are doing well.

Hillary took to Instagram to share a photo of her lovingly holding the two little girls and updating us on the family.

“So hard to believe it’s been 12 weeks with these little miracles in our arms!,” Hillary wrote.  “Life with these two and their big sis is just the sweetest gift. I’m overwhelmed by God’s love for His children. 💗 I’m a proud Mama bc these girls were 4 lbs 10 oz when they came home…and now they are nearing 12lbs!! 🙌🏻 Also, using the “Slumber” filter because it felt appropriate.”

Hillary and Chris announced that they were expecting a child in Aug 2017, in a joint announcement with bandmate Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli, who gave birth to their daughter Lillie Renee on Dec. 22. It wasn’t until later that month that they revealed they were expecting twins, followed by the gender reveal in Sept.

In addition, the family of five also announced that Chris will be leaving his role in Lady Antebellum as their drummer, to take on the child-rearing duties at home.

It looks like Hillary and Chris have this family thing down.
