Congratulations to Jake Owen and his girlfriend, Erica Hartlein, who are expecting their first child together.
Jake revealed the news to his family on Thursday night’s (Nov. 22) “I’m Coming Home” Television special, airing on Thanksgiving. During the special, Jake announced the happy news to his parents, Steve and Mitzi, and brother Jarrod while he was visiting his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla.
“This will throw you guys for a loop,” Jake said. “We haven’t told anyone, but Erica and I will be having a little addition to our Owen family.”
Jake’s parents’ excitement for the impending arrival could not be contained.
“I hope it’s twins,” Jake’s mom said.
“Gotta have a little boy,” added Jake’s dad.
The new baby will join big sister Olive Pearl (6), Jake’s daughter from his previous marriage.
