Jana Kramer is back on the small screen, starring in the Lifetime Christmas movie, “Christmas in Mississippi.”
The Michigan native plays photographer Holly Logan, who returns to her hometown of Gulfport, Mississippi for Christmas, to help resurrect the town festival, after a hurricane devastated the town five years earlier. Holly is forced to work with the man that broke her heart, Mike, as she starts to fall in love with her hometown, and Mike, all over again.
Jana will star alongside, Faith Ford (Hope & Faith), Barry Bostwick (Spin City) and Richard Karn (“Home Improvement) in the made for TV movie.
The “I Got the Boy” singer began her acting career in 2002, starring in the CW’s One Tree Hill, and appearing on shows, such as “Friday Night Lights” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” She even took a turn on “Dancing with the Stars,” making it to the final four.
The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram to share the trailer for her upcoming movie. “My movie trailer!!!!! It’s December!!!! Which means my @lifetimetv movie premiers this month!,” she wrote in the post. “Hope you love it as much as I do!!!”
“Christmas in Mississippi” airs on December 9 at 8p.m./7p.m. CT on Lifetime.
